Rayglass 2500

I have been a member of Ownaship for two months and have a share in their Rayglass 2500. What attracted me initially was the type of boats they had on offer – Rayglass is top of the range for boats of this size. Being a busy small business owner the concept of shared ownership appealed as the capital outlay is minimized and the usage allocated is more than adequate for my needs. My being able to get away from my work at the drop of a hat to take advantage of extra days which have not been booked also appealed. I am more than happy with the cost of ownership, considering the type of boat and equipment fit out and with the annual fees, considering location and service. Orams Dry Stack is state of the art and being able to walk on/ walk off and park securely at this facility makes for stress free boating. The boat itself is brand new (another attraction) and very well spec’d. The auto capstan and chart plotter/ GPS/ fish finder are pure magic. Plus all the other bits and pieces Own A Ship have supplied to make the experience just that little bit more enjoyable – stereo, VHS, shower, wash down hose, live bait tank, BBQ, life jackets, galley utensils, spare ropes & fenders and of course a “rubber duckie” if you want to go ashore. Peter Tromp of Sales and Lachlan Wilkinson of Management are knowledgeable and easy going blokes to deal with. The online booking system I found a little difficult to use but I have been advised it is being upgraded. All in all, a great package and I would highly recommend to any prospective purchaser.
